Cory McGee

Professional Runner

Cory McGee is an American middle-distance runner from Pass Christian, Mississippi. She grew up with three sisters: Shannon, Devin and Regen. They were her first running companions and created her high school cross-country team. While at Pass Christian High School, Cory was a 22-time Mississippi high school track and field state champion and two-time national champion.

She attended the University of Florida (UF) and was a six-time SEC champion as well as a two-time NCAA runner-up. Cory studied political science and political leadership at UF. In 2013, she finished third in the 1500-meter event at the USA Outdoor National Championships and represented the U.S. in Moscow at the World Outdoor Championships. In 2014, Cory signed a contract to represent New Balance, and she has worked with Garmin since 2020.

Cory represented the U.S. in the 2015 Pan American Games and 2016 World Indoor Championships. She currently trains in Boulder, Colorado, with Team Boss and is coached by Joe Bosshard.
